2009-2010 Supply List
Below is a supply list organized by subject area. These supplies will need to be replenished throughout the school year.
Language Arts 6th, 7th, 8th Grades
- 1 Large three ring binder (for English only)
- 1 Composition book for journals
- Loose leaf notebook paper
- Blue or black ink pens (final copies of all essays will be typed) *
- 6 Tabbed dividers labeled: Literature Notes, Writing, Spelling/Vocabulary Development, Grammar/DOL, B.O.B (Battle of the Books), and Graded Material.
- 2 Packs of post-its (any colors)
Selected novels and supplies may need to be purchased and/or replenished. * No pencils will be used in class at any time. Colored pens, other than blue or black, may be used for notes only. All class assignments must be in blue or black ink. Students using any other colors for class assignments will receive a 10 point deduction.
Math 6th, 7th, 8th Grades
- 1 3-ring binder for Math class only
- 1 pack of index cards
- 1 quad-ruled (graph paper style) notebook (min. 200 sheets)
- 2 sharpened pencils per class, eraser, pencil sharpener
- Ruler, protractor, drawing compass
- Dry erase markers
- TI- 83+, TI-83 or TI-84 calculator (optional for middle school curricula required for Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II )
Pens or erasable pens are not allowed.
Science 6th, 7th, 8th Grades (Except for Physics)
- 1 3-ring binder
- 2 folders
- 1 notebook with 200 sheets
- Pencils, blue /black pens, pencil sharpener, or lead for mechanical pencils, erasers
- 1 pack of colored pencils
- 1 pack of index cards
Social Studies 6th, 7th, 8th Grades
- 1 Binder for Social Studies only
- Binder folder
- Loose leaf paper
- Binder dividers
Homeroom SuppliesPlease have your child bring these supplies to their homeroom class.
- 2 boxes of tissues
- 1 bottle of hand sanitizer
This is a general list of materials and individual teachers may ask for additional materials during the school year, as needed. We understand that students with special needs may have modified list of materials.
