The CSP Tigers take on St. Mary’s School again to finish 6-1.
The CSP Tigers basketball team sweep St. Mary’s in a 50- 26 victory! The Tigers handed St. Mary’s another defeat to beat them two times this season. St. Mary’s tried to rally in the second half, but the Tigers were too much for them. The team was led in scoring with his second 20 plus point game in a row. Jerrin Ball, added 24 points, 5 assists, 3 rebounds, 1 block, and 3 steals. The other players contributed with the following: Dante Vick 14 points, 17 rebound, 1 assists, and 2 steals Shawn Brown 7 points, 14 rebounds, 7 steals, and 1 block John Dodd 4 points, 12 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal Gregory Purnell 1 point, 2 rebounds, 4 assist, and 2 steals Claudius Wallace 2 rebounds
The CSP Tigers take their record to 5-1 by defeating The Severn School.
The CSP Tigers basketball team took command of the Severn Admirals in a 69-29 win! The Tigers start off by ending the 1st quarter down 15-16. But, they rallied back to score 23 points in the 2nd quarter to take a 38-20 lead into half time. The Admirals were no match for the Tigers as they extended their lead by only allowing their opponent to score 1 point in the 3rd quarter. They ended the game with a 69-29 win. The team was led in scoring with a personal and team high of 25 points, 10 assists, 8 rebounds, 5 steals and 3 turnovers by Jerrin Ball. The other players contributed with the following: Dante Vick 15 points, 13 rebound, 3 assists, and 3 steals (Double Double) John Dodd 13 points, 19 rebounds, 2 assists, 3 steals, and 3 blocks (Double Double) Gregory Purnell 8 point, 1 rebound, 4 assist, and 7 steals Shawn Brown 7 points, 14 rebounds, 7 steals, and 1 block Claudius Wallace 2 rebounds
The CSP Tigers take on the Summit School to finish 7-1.
The CSP Tigers basketball rolls past the Summit school to a 43 to 12 victory. The Tigers easily handled the Summit School to extend their record to 7-1. The team was led in scoring by Jerrin Ball with 16 points, 3 assists, 8 rebounds, 2 blocks, and 2 steals. The other players contributed with the following: Gregory Purnell 10 points, 1 rebound, 7 assist, and 3 steals Dante Vick 8 points, 9 rebound, 1 assists, 1 block, and 3 steals John Dodd 6 points, 15 rebounds, 1 assist, and 2 blocks Claudius Wallace 3 points, 1 steal
The CSP Tigers are 3-0 after defeating St. Mary’s
The CSP Tigers basketball team dominates St. Mary’s of Annapolis with a 54-19 point win. The boys took on St. Mary’s, but they were no match for our Tigers! The game was never close with the teamwork that we had going. The team was led in scoring by Dante Vick with 18 points. He also added 2 rebounds, 1 assist, and 1 steal The other players contributed with the following: Blair Warr 14 points, 3 rebounds, 5 assists, 7 steals, and 1 block. Jerrin Ball 11 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists, 4 steals, and 1 block Shawn Brown 6 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists, 3 steals, and 2 blocks Gregory Purnell 4 points, 3 assists, 4 steals, and 1 block John Dodd 1 points, 6 rebounds, and 1 steal.
The CSP Tigers suffer their first defeat at the hands of Holy Trinity.
The CSP Tigers basketball team had their first loss Friday January 9th against Holy Trinity of Bowie. The boys were trailing for most of the game, but came back to within 2 points in the 4th but some late baskets from Holy Trinity put them up and ultimately allowed them to pull away to gain a 34-25 victory. The team’s first loss puts them at 4-1 for the season.
The team was led in scoring by Jerrin Ball and Dante Vick both contributing 8 points to the cause. Jerrin also added 4 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals. Dante added, 6 rebounds, 1 block, and 1 steal. The other players contributed with the following: Blair Warr 6 points, 1 rebound, 3 assists, and 4 steals Gregory Purnell 3 points, 1 assist, and 1 steal John Dodd 3 rebounds
The CSP Tigers are 4-0 after defeating a tough Indian Creek Team.
The CSP Tigers basketball team faced their toughest opponent to date when they traveled to Crownsville to face Indian Creek. The boys were trailing to end the first half 10-16 on Thursday January 8th for their first game back in action for the New Year. The team had a strong 3 quarter to come back and tie the game. The Tigers pulled away with a lead in the fourth quarter outscoring Indian Creek 16-9 to win the game 36-29.
The team was led in scoring by Blair Warr with 13 points, 9 rebounds, 2 assists, 5 steals and 1 block. The other players contributed with the following: Dante Vick 12 points, 7 rebounds Jerrin Ball 8 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assists, 2 steals, and 1 block Gregory Purnell 3 points, 5 assists, 1 steal, and 1 block John Dodd 10 rebounds, 1 assist, and 1 steal.
The CSP Tigers open up their inaugural basketball season with a win over Annapolis Area Christian School.
The CSP Tigers basketball team started their first season with a bang! Their first game ended in a win over AACS 57 to 36. The team played well in their win in spite of just getting the team started. Thanks to Coach Greg Purnell for bringing it all together. Everyone got into the action in contributing to the scoring. The team was lead in scoring by Jerrin Ball with 23 points. Jerrin hit 4 three point baskets to cap off his game. He also added 6 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and 2 turnovers. The other players contributed with the following: Dante Vick 12 points, 5 rebounds, 4 steals, 1 turnover, and 1 block Gregory Purnell 8 points, 3 assists, 1 rebound and 3 turnovers Blair Warr 8 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists, and 5 steals John Dodd 4 points, 6 rebounds, 2 steals, 1 block and 3 turnovers Claudius Wallace 2 points, 1 rebound, 1 assist, 1 steal, and 3 turnovers. |
