Chesapeake Science Point Public Charter School students,
participated in a two day trip to Boston, Massachusetts on April 26-27, 2010. The trip was
designed to be part of CSP’s High School Orientation Program and was available
to only CSP 8th graders.

Charter School is announced to be the CHARTER SCHOOL of the YEAR by Maryland
Charter School Network (MCSN), during the 7th
Annual Maryland Charter School
Conference. The conference held on April 30, 2010, was highlighted by the
presence of the Assistant State Superintendent Ann Chafin, AA County Executive
Honorable John Leopold, State Director for the Office of School Innovations
Hilda Ortiz, along with hundreds of representatives from 42 charter schools in
Maryland.
On April 19, 2010, Anne Arundel County Council
recognized Chesapeake Science Point Public Charter School and its Math Champions on
their state, national and global accomplishments.
JACK ANDRAKA, a Chesapeake Science Point Public Charter School
7th grader, participated in the International I-SWEEEP competition and
received a GOLD medal, representing the UNITED STATES of AMERICA.
Chesapeake Science Point Public Charter School students were
privileged to participate in the Groundbreaking Ceremony of Warriors in
Transition Soldier and Family Assistance Center for the Wounded Warriors of our
Nation.
We are so proud to announce the recognition letters CSP students have
received from Governor O'Malley and Anne Arundel County House of
Delegate Ted Sophocleus on their most recent math accomplisments.
