On April 19, 2010, Anne Arundel County Council recognized Chesapeake Science Point Public Charter School and its Math Champions on their state, national and global accomplishments.

The invitation for this wonderful honor came from the Anne Arundel County Councilman, Daryl Jones. CSP Team Infinity students were so excited to learn about this exceptional opportunity. Councilman Jones and the Council Chairman Ed Middlebrooks honored every Team A student with a Council Citation along with a citation for Chesapeake Science Point Public Charter School. Mr. Lancaster, CSP Governing Board V.P. thanked them for their ongoing support while receiving the citation for CSP.

“The reason I have such a great support for Chesapeake Science Point Public Charter School is the dedication of the students, staff and the parents that brings all those incredible accomplishments to our county” said Councilman Jones.

Councilwoman Trish Johnson also mentioned how impressed she was with CSP students’ performances in which they have participated. Commemorative pictures of the reception featuring CSP Math Champions with Councilman Jones and the Chairman Middlebrooks were taken.
